  • 中华民族文化促进会(英文名称Chinese Culture Promotion Society,简称文促会,英文缩写CCPS)创立于1992年,是注册于中华人民共和国的全国性联合性社会组织;隶属中华人民共和国文化部主管。创会宗旨:弘扬中华文化,促进国际交流。文促会会员遍及31个省市自治区、港澳台地区和16个主要华侨华人居住国,由海内外成就杰出的文艺家、学者、企业家和文化活动家组成。文促会名誉主席许嘉璐,主席高占祥,法定代表人王石;2004年国家授予“全国先进民间组织”称号,是目前国内最有影响力的文化NGO组织之一。 创会17年间,文促会努力践行创会宗旨,开展了一系列重要的文化活动。其中:以全面整理我国历史典籍为目的的《今注本二十四史》文化工程;以全球化与中华文化为主题的“2004文化高峰论坛”及其《甲申文化宣言》;旨在促进国际交流与合作的 “2005年亚洲文化合作会议”;旨在总结展示上世纪100年文艺创作成就的20世纪华人音乐经典、舞蹈经典、摄影经典系列活动;旨在推动海峡两岸文化交流的《2008两岸文化交流协商会议》以资助10个革命老根据地贫困学生就读职业学校和高等院校为目标的“山花工程”,以及创建“文化产业协作体”、“节庆中华协作体”、 “书画频道”、“音响世界频道”等项目,均在海内外产生了重大影响,赢得了良好声誉。 文促会曾与香港、澳门、台湾地区以及美国、法国、德国、意大利、瑞典、丹麦、奥地利、澳大利亚、新西兰、日本、韩国、泰国、新加坡、越南等国家展开文化交流及项目合作. 党和国家领导人胡锦涛、江泽民、吴邦国、习近平、李鹏、朱镕基、李瑞环;海内外文化名人启功、季羡林、任继愈、贺绿汀、李德伦、谢晋、杨振宁、陈香梅、陈立夫、梅纽因、李姬镐等均曾出席、参与文促会活动。 文促会原名称“中华民族文化促进会”。2009年3月经文化部、民政部同意,国务院批准,变更为现名称。 Founded in 1992, and registered in the People's Republic of China , the Chinese Culture Promotion Society (CCPS) is a national non-governmental organization with the Ministry of Culture as its competent authorities. CCPS is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture and advancing international cultural exchanges. Its members consist of accomplished artists, scholars, cultural activists and entrepreneurs spread across mainland China , and in Hong Kong , Macao and Taiwan , and in 16 foreign countries with large Chinese communities. Its honorary chairmen is Xu Jialu, current chairman is Gao Zhanxiang, and legal representative is Wang Shi. It is one of the most influential cultural NGOs in China and was honored in 2004 as the “Model National NGO” by the central government. In the last 17 years, CCPS has strived to fulfill its founding principles by undertaking a number of major cultural projects. The Annotated Twenty-Four Histories is a comprehensive study of the classics of Chinese history. The 2004 Cultural Summit and the 2004 Cultural Declaration issued by its participants called for a renewed Chinese culture in the age of globalization. The Asian Cultural Cooperation Conference held in 2005 promoted international communication and cooperation. The 20th Century Classics of Chinese Music, of Chinese Dance and of Chinese Photography provide an overview of artistic achievements by Chinese worldwide in the last century. 2008 Consultative Conference on Cultural Exchanges Between mainland China and Taiwan aimed at furthering cultural exchanges across the straits.The Mountain Flower Project gives financial help to poor students from ten former revolutionary bases to go through vocational education or college education. Besides, CCPS has initated and sponsored establishment of Co-operative of Chinese Cultural Industry, Co-operative of Chinese Festivals, Painting and Calligraphy Channel and Audio World Channel. All these projects enjoy global reach and high reputation. CCPS has conducted cultural exchange projects with organizations in Hong Kong, Maocao , Taiwan , and the United States , France , Germany , Italy , Sweden , Denmark , Austria , Australia , New Zealand , Japan , South Korea , Thailand , Singapore and Vietnam . Among those who have attended or participated in CCPS events are party and state leaders Hu Jintao, Jiang Zeming, Wu Bangguo, Xi Jinping, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji and Li Ruihuan, and distinguished cultural figures such as Qi Gong, Ji Xianlin, Ren Jiyu, He Luting, Li Delun, Xie Jin, Chen Ning Yang, Anna C. Chennault, Ch'en Li-Fu, Yehudi Menuhin and Rhee Hee-hoh. In March 2009, on the basis of preliminary approvals by the Cultural Ministry and the Civil Ministry, the State Council gave a seal of approval of the current Chinese name of this organization(English translation of the name remains unchanged.)
